It was fantastic and the hakama is no longer quite as confusing.  I posted the other day about not having a clue how to wear one but after being shown the way to tie the knots properly I was fully kitted up.

We did 3 main katas of the school I’m in: Enshin Ryu.

I can’t go into it as its part of the agreement of the school but it was great to finally be doing kenjutsu and iaijutsu while dressed in the proper way.  It was also really calming too.

I can see this taking over my life!
